*Medical Esthetics Training & Certificate
The demand for both men and woman of all ages to have non-invasive, non-surgical esthetic procedures is not just a trend. In fact these types of services have experienced unprecedented growth in the beauty industry and continue to do so. This program is designed to give you the skills and real life practical experience to excel in this field. You will have the ability to work with a variety of top medical grade brands and the latest advancements in laser, light and radio frequency based technologies. The Educators of this program bring over a combined 20 years experience in the industry and share insight and experiences of working alongside some of Toronto’s top Physicians, Dermatologists, and Plastic Surgeons. Along with the latest theory on skin, advanced skin care ingredients, pharmacology, skin typing, light theory, latest technologies and insight into cosmetic surgeries and enhancements, students will learn and practice how to deliver an excellent client experience through communication, consulting, recommending services and products to meet the client’s expectations. A strong focus is put on building long term client relations and contributing positively to the workplace.
Prerequisites to meet the entrance requirements
- Graduate of an Esthetics program from a Canadian College
- Personal interview to determine suitability for the program
Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate and receive a diploma, a student must obtain an overall average of 70% with no grade less than 60% in any theory or practical examination.
They also must successfully complete the hours of practical application and complete the requirements of the Co-op placement.
