Skin Care Specialists Certificate
This program covers all aspects of professional skin care including; histology and physiology of the skin, indentifying different skin types and conditions, product knowledge and recommendation, electrical tools for facials, and facial treatments for all skin types. Emphasis is placed on professional image, code of ethics and the delivery of great customer service.
Prerequisites
- Grade 12 or equivalent OR Mature student status (18 years old) and a passing score on the entrance examination
- Personal interview to determine suitability for the program
Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate and receive a certificate, a student must obtain an overall average of 70% with no grade less than 60% in any subject.
To meet entrance requirements for Salon+Spa Career College Medical EstheticsProgram student must obtain a grade of 75% or higher.
