Salon/Spa Manager Diploma
The Salon/Spa Manager Diploma program teaches students the essential business and management skills required to succeed in today’s fast paced salon or spa environment, with a focus on understanding day-to-day operations. In addition, students learn how to develop leadership, team building, coaching, mentoring, strategic planning and decision-making skills that are all critical to success in the spa business. Students will gain a thorough understanding of financial accounting principles, effective sales and marketing techniques and software applications Milano Software, QuickBooks, Word and Excel.
Prerequisites
- Grade 12 or equivalent OR Mature student status (18 years old) and a passing score on the entrance examination
- Personal interview to determine suitability for the program
Graduation Requirements
To graduate and receive a diploma, a student must obtain an overall average of 70% with no grade less than 60% in any subject and successfully complete requirement of the Co-op Placement.
